The CPD has requested us to extend our cover during CHOGM and provide at least a fire crew of 4 firefighters and 3 USAR Rescuers 24/7 from Monday 23rd to Sunday 29th. We will have 12 hour shifts 07:00 to 19:00 and 19:00 to 07:00. We will be on duty at the Fort that will act as a fire rescue station and will be called out on incidents supporting CPD. Whilst on stand-by we will test the equipment to ensure that it is in good working, rest and occasionally do some non-strenuous training / activity, however remain at all times ready for deployment.
