Earth Hour 2016

For the second consecutive year the Ministry for Sustainable Development, the Environment and Climate Change(MSDEC) has joined other countries around the globe to celebrate Earth Hour. The 60+ event is a worldwide grassroots movement by WWF to unite people to take action for the planet by engaging a massive mainstream community on a broad range of environmental issues. This year’s challenge is Climate Change. The event traditionally encompasses turning off lights as a symbolic gesture from monuments, administrative buildings or other public areas.
