Assistant Commissioner  R Sirol Funeral

Dear members,

Sadly, I have to inform you that Mr Raniero Sirol CStJ, Assistant Commissioner St John (First Aid & Nursing) has passed away. Mr Sirol was also the husband of the First Aid & Nursing Branch's current Commissioner Mrs Gemma Sirol.

Many of you have known or met with Mr Sirol on several occasions at St John Association Headquarters in Valletta or at the St John Rescue Corps Annual Review at our headquarters in Madliena. It is now our duty to pay our last respect at the funeral where we will be joining our colleagues from St John Ambulance and the rest of the Association.

The funeral will be held at Paola Parish Church (Kristu Re) on Thursday 5th September at 10am.

All members are encouraged to attend in their best uniform as follows: 

No.1 Uniform - for those who have it

Beret, White/Blue Shirt, Tie, Smart uniform trousers/skirt - for those who do not have the No. 1 uniform.

USAR Uniform- SJRC BAseball Cap, SJRC blue t-shirt (or polo shirt), SJRC  Blue Trousers and clean black boots.

If you need any uniform items, please inform me by Wednesday AM so that we can organise to have the Q Stores open from 18:00 till 19:00.
