CANCELLED but some memebers had already arrived to Madliena and unloaded equipment from vehicles and did maintenace for 1hr_ Thomas Smith Christmas Charity Swim

For this duty we will be on stand-by in the water with our dinghy and the rescue boards. We will also support on land by safely marshalling swimmers in and out of the water and 1^st Aid. Lifeguards and 1^st Aiders please register, but all members can attend to assist, including new Recruits.

Transport: It’s important to inform Chris BC or Roderick T if you will be departing from the Fort with Corps vehicles at 07:30 or coming on-site at 08:00 so that we plan transport.

Uniform: SJRC t-shirt, SJRC blue fleece, SJRC blue trousers, SJRC hi-vis jacket or hi-vis bib, clean black boots, SJRC baseball cap. Those assigned on the boat or rescue boards will be using SJRC wet /dry suits.
