Europride Parade & Concert

Europride Parade & Concert
The event will be split into 3 phases, the first being the assembly of the parade floats at St Anne Street Floriana, the 2nd the actual parade through Valletta, which is identical to the Carnival Route than back to Florianna and the last phase is the activities and concerts that will be held at the Floriana Mall and next to Tritoni Square.
We will setup 2 First Aid Posts, one next to the Catholic Institute (Call Sign X-Ray) which is usually the busiest post and another in Republic Street next to the Law Courts in Valletta (Call Sign Uniform). We will have an ambulance at both of these sites and Roaming Team covering these areas. The Uniform Post next to the Law Courts we will use the fast popup gazebos and will only be operational during the parade after which will be dismantled and all teams will be relocated to the Floriana Catholic Institute X-Ray Post. The post will both be operated by us and supported by MDH Staff and equipment. We will have Roaming Teams assigned to designated zones to transport casualties to the Medical Post. Each Roaming Team will consist of a mix of Ambulance and Rescue Members all equipped with radios and kits.
This is a very long duty, but we are not expecting to have the rush of casualties as the last MTV since the weather will be cooler and we have a good number of resources for this duty, including a number of 1st Aiders from St John UK. Water and a packed lunch will be provided for our Members and long breaks will be planned.
