Full day training activities
Combined exercises with Experts from Germany and Austria on the following scenarios:
- Casualty handling- extrications from confined space and handling casualties over rough terrain.
- Coordinator- Ivan Azzopardi
- Bucket/ Scoop / Rock Stretchers to be used
- Casualty extrication from vehicle involved in a road traffic collision.
- Coordinators – Robert Attard / Roderick Theuma
- 3 Scrapped vehicles required for training
- Mercedes fully kitted required
- Recovering casualties using High Angle Techniques.
- Coordinator - Josef Borg
- PPE for above activities:
- All members are to bring with them SJRC helmet including head torch, gloves and SJRC hi-vis bib.
- Members qualified or still undergoing the FFFC course are to bring with them their fire kit.
- Members qualified or still undergoing the High Angle Courses are to bring with them their high angle kit if they have one.
This is a full day event and it’s an excellent opportunity for all members to work along with foreign rescue organisations and learn from each other.
Recruits will continue with their course in the afternoon however they can participate in the morning sessions which also includes Casualty handling.
