As most of you are aware, over the past recent years Malta has been extremely succesful within the Drag Racing Competitions that are held Worldwide. Therefore, the Malta Drag Racing Association have asked us to assist in being on standby during their high risk events (such as Ethanol fueled dragsters etc.) to provide full Fire & Rescue Cover throughout.

VOPs Home Fire Safety Campaign Training- 

We are now in the preparatory phases to kick off with the €25,000 VOPs funded project aimed to raise public awareness on home fire risks and to provide advice on how to avoid such incidents. The van that will be used for this project will be delivered next week and should take 6 weeks to be converted and ready for use.

As part of the VOPs project Mr Tom Sefton will be coming to Malta to train us in delivering these awareness talks and will show us different methods aimed at different segments of the public, such as kids, adults and the elderly. Tom who is a retired Fire Fighter, has vast experience in dealing with house fires and also has first-hand experience in delivering such awareness talks.
