This exercise will include Fire Fighting, Light Rescue and USAR and is open to all members including recruits. HQ personnel are also encouraged to attend as we will be setting up the Gold Command at the Fort and also for coordinating logistics.

We will meet at 18:30 sharp for briefing, loading of equipment onto vehicles and deployment.

Uniform - in normal blue fatigues and SJRC baseball cap.

All members should have the following PPE:

• Dust mask;
• Safety specs or goggles;
• Ear protection;
• Helmet with head torch;
• High visibility bib;
• Safety gloves;
• Knee pads;
• Safety boots;
• Full Fire Kit (for members qualified or still undergoing FFFC);
• Personal Rescue Harness (for members qualified or still undergoing the course in High Angle Rescue).

All PPE mentioned above is available at Q Stores, except for boots.

The exercise will end at 12:30 and everyone participating is expected to stay till the end to make up / unloading of equipment and for debriefing.

If you have friends that can act as casualties please ask them to attend and inform me accordingly.

The Corps is organizing a trial dive activity for anyone interested in experiencing what it feels like to dive. The trial dive will cost Eur30.00 with all equipment included.

Ecumenical Service - American Priory

The American Priory will be on a pilgrimage and will be travelling through several countries. They will be in Malta between 3 to 8 April. An Ecumenical Service will be held on Monday 7 April and afterwards they will be hosting a short reception afterwards. During this service some Corps members will be presented with the Service Medals and Bars.

The MTA is currently organizing a full day of activities at Pembroke Garigue Heritage Project. The Garigue Heritage Project is a natura 2000 site situated between Pembroke Gardens and the Madliena Tower, Pembroke.

Already confirmed activities include various clean ups on site, underwater clean up, an open day in collaboration with AFM & St John Rescue Corps / St John Ambulance, reenactments near the Madliena Tower, workshops organized by Nature Trust, Walking and Cylcing tours by Ekoskola and much more.
