Tomorrow we will be having the assessment of the Ladder Work 9m at Fort Madalena. The session starts with a brief revision at 1400hrs and then followed by the assessment which ends at 1800hrs.The assessment will be both practical and theoretical so please revise the notes.

A person can sit for the assessment if one attended for at least two ladder work sessions.

Please come in full uniform and also bring gloves and safety helmet with you.

This Saturday we shall be having the sixth lesson of Stretcher Handling.

The training session starts at 1400hrs (please be there on time) and ends at 1800hrs at Fort Madalena. Remember to be in full working uniform and to bring with you gloves, helmet (if you don't have one this will be assigned prior to the training) and a large bottle of water.

After training you are invited to socialise with other members at the Mess.

Basic Fire Awareness - Theoretical Assessment

This Wednesday we will be having the theoretical assessment of the basic fire awareness module. You can sit for this assessment if you have attended for both the theroetical and the practical part of this module.

The assessment will take place at the Fort at 1800hrs. Revise the notes. Uniform not required.

For those who missed a lesson of the BFA module another theoretical/practical lesson will be held at a future date. On attending this lesson, you can then sit for an assessment which will be held on a later date.

This Saturday we shall be having the fourth lesson of Stretcher Handling.

This is the second part of the module which is a requirement for the RV1 qualification. Kindly make your effort to attend for this.

The lesson will take place at the Fort at 1800hrs. Uniform not required though wear though wear comfortable clothing and no open toe shoes.

This Saturday we shall be having the third lesson of Stretcher Handling.

This training session starts at 1400hrs (please be there on time) and ends at 1800hrs at Fort Madalena. Remember to be in full working uniform and to bring with you gloves, helmet (if you don't have one this will be assigned prior to the training) and a large bottle of water.

This Saturday 3rd March 2018 you will be assessed in Knots & ropes.

The test will consist of written and practice. Revise your booklet and practice your knots.
